Black and blue oven mitts magnetized on a refrigerator side in a kitchen.

Convenient Storage

Magnets!

Obviously, this is the coolest part about the MagMitt. To keep a sleak design, the magnet is fully hidden in the lining of the mitt, so it will stick to your fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher, or any magnetic surface that you’d like it.

Magnetic Hot Pad

Look, Mom... No Hands!

The MagPad has a magnet for storage AND for use. It will stick on the bottom of your cast iron or steel baking trays so that you can use two hands to carry your heavy pan, and your dining room table will always be protected.

Sizing

Just Right

Most of the time that I’m using an oven mitt, it’s just for grabbing a lid or a pot handle. There is no need to go elbow deep into some Doc Brown radioactive gloves in order to just hold your cast iron pan in place as you stir. BUUUUUT those tiny little claw mitts don’t protect your wrist from steam or the edge of a toaster oven. That’s why I extended the convenient claw mitts by 1.5 inches and found the perfect length to cover the average hand and wrist.

Tapered Thumb

For Hands... Not Hooves

Most people have 1 thumb and 4 fingers on each hand, so I designed the MagMitt to fit 1 thumb and 4 fingers. It seems obvious, but most other oven mitts out there look like they are designed for hooves for some strange reason.

Hidden Loop

Just in Case

In case your fridge isn’t magnetic or you like hanging your mitts the old fashion way, each MagMitt has a hidden loop that you can hang it from.

Materials

Washer/Dryer Friendly

The outside of the MagMitt and MagPad are made with heavy duty canvas to protect you from the heat. The silicone grip is flexible enough for you to still feel the ridges or textures of your handle, while also providing extra grip on slippery surfaces. AND both materials are fully safe in the washer and dryer too.
