When will you be back in stock?
If the color that you want is out of stock, rest assured that more are on the way. You can sign up for stock updates on the bottom of this page, OR email us with your specific question at support@magmitt.com, and we can give you an estimate for the color you are waiting for.
Do the magnets get weaker with heat or in the washing machine?
No. The magnets don't lose their strength with normal use.
MagMitts use neodymium magnets, which are strong enough to hold the MagMitt or MagPad in place when vertical on a fridge or even upside down on a pan or open dishwasher door.
We tested the magnets with extreme high temps (500°F/260°C) and extreme low temps (0°F/-18°C), and the magnetism doesn't weaken. (For the nerds out there, our magnets have a curie temperature between 590°F and 752°F [310°C to 400°C])
With the insulation built-in by the fabric and silicone of the MagMitt and MagPad, this basically means your magnets are probably going to outlive your MagMitts. And when that happens, just send the magnet back and we will give you a HUGE discount on your next set.
Do you ship internationally?
Not Yet. We are looking to expand to international deliveries in 2026. All of our products are currently shipped from California, so we are looking into other options to reduce high shipping fees.
Is shipping free?
Yes. It's FREE. All standard shipping in the continental US is included in the sales price. For faster shipping, there are additional fees.
When will my order arrive?
Depending on where you are located in the US, on average our orders will arrive within 3-5 business days after purchase. You will get an email as soon as the order ships with a detailed arrival estimate.
What is your return policy?
First of all... if you're not satisfied with your purchase or something went wrong on our end, please reach out to support@magmitt.com to give us a chance to make it right and improve the customer experience for others as well. We make the world's greatest oven mitts, but we also make mistakes.
Secondly... everyone who orders a MagMitt (in the continental US) gets FREE DELIVERY SHIPPING built into the sales price so everyone from Orlando to Oregon pays the same price. However, unlike other companies, we don’t build return shipping costs into our sales price. That way the people who love their MagMitts don’t end up paying for someone else’s returns, and our sales prices can stay as low as possible.
Instead, we apply a 20% restocking fee to all returns to help offset the shipping and processing costs of a return. (We still lose money on all returns, but this allows us to keep MagMitts affordable for anyone who wants some in their kitchen).
If you’re not completely satisfied, you can return your order within 30 days of delivery. Items must be: unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received them. Returned in/with their original packaging.
If you'd like to return your unused and undamaged product, you can find a link in your purchase email to process a return, and a shipping label will be sent to you directly.
